Doğuş University Department of Mathematics

Welcome to the web-site of the Department of Mathematics. In addition to offering various service courses for other departments, our department also accepts undergraduate students to major in mathematics. The Department offers required fundamental theoretical courses, followed by elective courses from which students can choose freely according to their interests and future plans. In addition, students who wish to pursue graduate studies or to teach in high schools can select more advanced theoretical courses.

In our program, lectures are delivered in English to enable our students to use the resources that are used all over the world, and to make them qualified researchers worldwide, in accordance with the department’s mission of training individuals to play significant roles in strengthening the position of our country globally. Also students may choose to apply the ERASMUS program to have their partial education at Nantes University, France.

The mathematics program opens an important gate for independent and creative students who have the intellectual abilities necessary for abstraction and generalization.
